With this article, we are informing you about a new process that we will carry out from now on for all product changes or discontinuations that require adjustments to customer systems. The goal is to know the contact persons for such projects and to ensure that customers work smoothly with DocuWare.
As usual, we always inform you first about important changes in the DocuWare product via PartnerInfo and Partner Blog. Once we know which customers will be affected by changes – for example, at DocuWare Cloud based on usage data – a new workflow starts within DocuWare (naturally).
The Partner’s Key contact will receive an email from us with a list of their affected customers and a link to a DocuWare form. There, they appoint a project manager for the adaptation of the customer systems and confirms with the form submission that the necessary steps are being taken. The assigned project manager is then automatically informed about the workflow.
This new process will soon be used for two discontinuations: GL encoding and cookie authentication.
