What’s new in DocuWare version 7.12
The upcoming release includes new functions for processing e-invoices, connecting IDP functions, and for analytics. Security and configurations are also getting some useful updates.
Highlight: E-Invoice Processing
- The contents of e-invoices, particularly invoice line items, can now be automatically transferred to table elements, where they are available for further invoice processing and review.
- E-invoice attachments, common to most electronic invoice formats, are now displayed in the viewer.
Highlight: IDP Integration
Beginning with the official release of version 7.12, the following will be possible with DocuWare Cloud:
- In the new module “IDP” within the DocuWare settings, you can now define, for each individual configuration, which IDP classification and extraction should be applied to the processed documents.
- This type of IDP configuration can now be integrated into Connect to Mail within an email processing configuration, so that all email attachments are processed according to the IDP configuration.
This makes it possible for all documents received by email to be classified before archiving and for the contents to be extracted for indexing and further processing according to the document class.
Highlight: Analytics
- The new Workflow Analytics API allows for the seamless transfer of data from DocuWare into popular analytics tools. Companies can analyze their business processes in detail, gain valuable insights, and visualize them in order to make informed decisions and develop targeted workflow optimizations (available for DocuWare Cloud).
- The new Power BI connector allows data to be used directly from the Workflow Analytics API and from DocuWare archives for comprehensive analyses in Microsoft Power BI. In on-premises environments, the integration is available for archived data.
