As of June 2026, DocuWare Cloud supports HTTP/3, the latest industry-standard protocol for data transfer in web applications. The primary benefit of this change for cloud customers is faster transfer speeds and more stable connections. The web client and documents in the viewer load more quickly and queries like searches are answered more rapidly — especially on mobile devices or when the connection is poor.
Stable connection
When switching between different WIFI networks or from WIFI to mobile internet, your connection is maintained and does not have to be re-established. Users will also enjoy more stable service when the network connection is less than ideal.
Encryption
In addition, your connection is automatically better encrypted, without needing to make any changes — even when DocuWare is integrated into third-party applications.
Rollout
The rollout will be seamless, and it makes no difference whether DocuWare Cloud customer are still working with version 7.13 or have already upgraded to version 7.14.
There is no need for you or your customers to do anything to take advantage of these improvements.
