Looking for the same information you recently searched for? No problem – DocuWare automatically saves your last five searches. Here’s how to take advantage of this handy feature.

Recent searches – a real time saver in daily work

Picking up where you left off yesterday and need the same documents again? Instead of re-typing all your search terms, just re-run yesterday’s search – and everything’s right there at your fingertips.

 

How to access your recent searches 

In the search menu, you’ll find not only search dialogs assigned to you, but also the "Recent searches" entry. No matter how many search dialogs you have, this item always appears second to last in the drop-down box.

Access recent searches via the search menu 

Clicking on this entry opens a list of your last five search queries, each with the name of the file cabinet, the search dialog and the search terms used. Just select the one you need to run the same search again.
