My Business – Assigning a Partner Contact to the Customer
On the customer and prospect page in My Business, in addition to the address data of the customer/prospect, there is a new select list to assign a Partner employee to each customer or prospect.
The relevant employees serve as responsible contacts and automatically receive relevant information such as...
- Emails about low quantity storage space in cloud organizations or
- announcements about updates of DocuWare versions.
Only members of the Administration or Management teams may be assigned (in the Partner Portal, this assignment was previously only possible to a limited extent, as only logged-in users could assign themselves.)
IMPORTANT NOTE - Please check that someone is assigned to each customer/prospect and if someone is already assigned, that they are the correct person.
Importance of having a DocuWare ID
The DocuWare ID forms the basis for using My Business, the DocuWare Academy's Learning Management Platform (LMS) and the Support Portal. The account is therefore a prerequisite for access to all thing DocuWare and for optimal customer service.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Periodically, please check the following:
• Manage people – Are there any former employees that need to be removed?
• ADP contact assignments – Are the right colleagues assigned to all your customers and prospects?
On the company information page, you will now find existing contract detail such as their products and list pricing. Please note that License Download is still only available in the Partner Portal. We’ll let you know when that is being moved over to My Business.
