The on-premises version of DocuWare 7.15 is now available to you with a focus on the web-based Workflow Designer. This makes the transition from the old desktop app to the modern designer even more attractive.
What's new in DocuWare Version 7.15 (On-Premises)
The highlight of this update is the new Workflow Designer: With automatic arrangement of workflow activities, different standard colors for each activity type, live preview of workflow notifications during editing, and additional enhancements, configuring workflows is now even easier and faster.

In addition, DocuWare Forms now allows values selected via dropdown menus to be included in automatic calculations. This means fewer fields have to be filled out manually and the error rate decreases. Discover the advantages and use cases of this new Forms feature (English | Japanese).

DocuWare Mobile + Update Recommendation
Currently, there are two versions of the DocuWare mobile app: the new version and the classic version.
Important information for on-premises customers:
The new mobile app can be used with DocuWare from version 7.10 and above; it is not compatible with earlier versions. We therefore recommend that you check whether your customers are using older versions of DocuWare and advise them to update if necessary.
Beyond mobile support, current versions offer many new features and ensure that customers with a maintenance and support contract can also receive support. You can check our DocuWare Support Lifecycle Policy to see whether the versions used by your customers are still supported.
The classic mobile app is still available in the stores, but it is no longer being developed. Therefore, there is a possibility that it may no longer be usable with future iOS or Android versions.

DocuWare Updates and Upgrades
Please take into account when calculating your offers that customers without a valid maintenance and support contract can update their system at any time by purchasing updates or upgrades. However, this is only

possible for the entire system, and
-
must always be to the latest version currently offered by DocuWare.
When updating the system, a new maintenance and support contract must be purchased, based on the prices valid at that time. The upgrade price is calculated from the value of the DocuWare system (refer to the current price list for software prices), increased by the percentage specified below.
For an update or upgrade to DocuWare Version 7.15, the percentage is calculated as follows. If using:

Version 7.14 → 20%

Version 7.13 → 40%

Version 7.12 → 60%

Version 7.11 and earlier → 100%
