After we announced in mid-2024 that we would be sunsetting DocuWare’s split booking tool GL Coding and the associated GL Coding Azure web services, it is now time for the final step—the discontinuation of DocuWare GL Coding Azure web services. If you have any clients who are still using GL Coding and the associated web services, action is urgently required.
The sunsetting announcement for the DocuWare split booking tool GL Coding and the associated GL Coding Azure web services was released on July 31, 2024. Since then, support has also been discontinued and equivalent functions are fully integrated into DocuWare’s standard modules. It is now time for the final step—the total discontinuation of DocuWare GL Coding Azure web services as of October 1, 2025.
As of that date, the affected services will no longer be available—regardless of which DocuWare system is being used (DocuWare Cloud or On-Premises).
What you and your clients need to do
Please ensure that all affected client systems have been switched over to the latest DocuWare standard modules. If this has not already been done, we urgently recommend taking care of it as soon as possible to avoid any disruptions. After the discontinuation of service in October, the entire suite of functions based on the GL Coding Azure web services will no longer be available.
