DocuWare Support Lifecycle Guidelines

To ensure the best possible support and improve efficiency in the deployment of hotfixes and updates, each DocuWare version is supported for a period of three years from its release. This policy gives you a clear view of when a customer should be updated, ensuring continuous security with a fully supported product version.

Based on this policy, as of 05/31/2024, no new hotfixes or updates will be made available for DocuWare version 7.6.

Please note:

  • At the end of a version's lifecycle, only technical support is provided where it’s practically possible. In most cases, this is limited to questions of usage and configuration. We will address specific technical problems as far as possible.      
  • In order to achieve a timely solution, we recommend that you update to a current DocuWare version, as discontinued DocuWare versions can no longer receive updates or hotfixes.
  • Support for DocuWare version 7.4 is limited to general troubleshooting and hotfix packages that have already been released.
