Here are the details of our new web-based Workflow Designer beta phase which is open to you. The new module is now available in all DocuWare Partner accounts for testing purposes.
Access
From December 18th on, all Partners will have access to the web-based Workflow Designer in their DocuWare Cloud systems so that they can get to know and test the application. The new Workflow Designer can be accessed directly within the DocuWare configuration in the "Collaboration" section.
(Note: The availability date was added after this article was published.)
Feedback
We would be very grateful if you could test the application and share your feedback with us. This is of great value for further development. Please enter your thoughts via the feedback form available directly in the product.
Current limitations
The web-based Workflow Designer is currently in an advanced stage of development, with the most important features of the application having been completed compared to the current Workflow Designer desktop app. Only the following three features are currently missing: integration with REST web services, providing links and descriptions in tasks, and assigning data to form templates. These features will be gradually added in the next releases.
Please also note that you can currently only create and run new workflows in the web-based Workflow Designer. Workflow migration is not yet supported. Therefore, currently existing workflows cannot be transferred to the new Workflow Designer.
