What's changing with Single Sign-On?
We are introducing a new version of the Identity Service for DocuWare Cloud. This one uses different URLs, which means it’s accessed under a different name than the previous version. As a result, customers who use Single Sign-On (SSO) need to add a new “callback URL” to their SSO configuration.
When does the SSO configuration need to be updated?
The new Identity Service is part of the new DocuWare release and will be rolled out with the update to DocuWare version 7.15. Updates to Cloud organizations will begin in mid-October and as usual, will be spread over a period of approximately two months. You will be notified of your individual update date by email.
Important: Your administrator must update the SSO configuration BEFORE updating to DocuWare version 7.15. Otherwise, users will no longer be able to log in to DocuWare using Single Sign-On after the update.
What do you need to do?
It’s best to do this now to make sure everything is taken care of in time. Individual users don’t need to make any additional changes.
