This current release 1) enables the direct connection of DocuWare Intelligent Document Processing functions (IDP) and 2) features the substantial switch from cookie-based authentication to the oAuth2 method.
Connection of Intelligent Document Processing
The IDP functions Classification and Extraction can now be used directly from the DocuWare workflow. This means that these AI-based functions for assigning documents to different categories and extracting data from a wide range of document types are now also available to DocuWare on-premises customers.
Note: In the What's New document, these application scenarios are only hinted at, as the IDP functions have not yet been actively communicated to customers. We will wait on this until we have prepared you, our DocuWare Partners, through training and sales talks via special webinars that will cover in-depth information on features and applications. Look for the webinar dates in an upcoming PartnerInfo.

Further steps of the release: The update of cloud organizations and the information to customers via the product blog and UserInfo will start at the beginning of October.
