Integrate cloud systems easily

DocuWare iPaaS Connectors on Make
One platform, many providers: Most of the major business applications are available on Make for integration with DocuWare, including the standard, widely used ones as well as specialized apps for industry use cases.
While data is safely stored in the cloud, it can lead to data silos. Cloud systems are by their very nature isolated and the programming of interfaces is also quite complex.

With DocuWare iPaaS connectors, you can bring your data back into your business. On iPaaS platforms such as Make or Microsoft Power Automate, you can connect your DocuWare Cloud with other business applications and keep your company’s workflows humming. Cost traps from faltering processes are avoided.

Key advantages of DocuWare iPaaS connectors at a glance:
  • Automated workflows without limits between different cloud applications
  • Consistent data across an enterprise
  • Workflows created intuitively using a clickable interface
  • Integration of cloud applications without time-consuming special programming and constant adjustments after updates

Automated workflows with cloud applications

Automated workflows speed up processes in a company, especially when you can link up different cloud applications. Here are four examples that illustrate the advantages of automatic data exchange:

  • Synchronizing booking data: Invoice booking data archived in DocuWare and passed the invoice verification process in DocuWare are automatically transferred to an ERP or accounting software.
  • Matching of master data: Company master data from a CRM is compared with DocuWare so that the data in all systems involved is always up to date and correct data is used for document searches.
  • Reconciliation of purchase requisitions: Requests are entered and stored via a DocuWare form. For further use, this data is transferred to an ERP.
  • Legally compliant archiving: If ERP software automatically creates invoices in a PDF format and sends them to customers by email, they can be transferred to DocuWare in the same step for legally compliant storage and automatically linked to processes in the ERP system.
Data that is integrated into workflows via iPaaS platforms is also protected. At Make, for example, both the European and American data protection areas are covered by one AWS data center each in Germany and the USA.
More details can be found on the platforms of the respective iPaaS providers.

DocuWare iPaaS Connectors

DocuWare has developed its own connectors especially for the integration of cloud applications on Make and Power Automate. Other iPaaS platforms such as webmethods.io and elastic.io also offer connectors for DocuWare – integrations with locally installed applications are also possible here.

iPaaS

Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS)

The technical term iPaaS refers to cloud-based services with which applications from different cloud and on-premise environments can be integrated. Data and applications can be connected to workflows. For example, Make, Power Automate, elastic.io and webmethods.io are providers of iPaaS platforms.

Universal: Connectors

No programming needed: Modern cloud applications connect via connectors. Embedded in an iPaaS platform, these universal modules are not set to another single application, but rather can exchange data with all other connectors of that platform.

So much DocuWare is in the connectors

The DocuWare connectors on Make and Power Automate allow data exchange with other cloud applications, for example downloading files and documents, deleting, storing them in file cabinets and setting stamps.

How to start with DocuWare iPaaS connectors

The DocuWare iPaaS connectors are available for free on the platforms. On the DocuWare side, no special license is required, only a DocuWare client license, to log in to DocuWare. With Make, billing is based on usage; Microsoft Power Automate requires a premium license

Information on the use of DocuWare on other iPaaS platforms can be found on these provider websites: Software AG Cloud and elastic.io.
