DocuWare can be flexibly integrated into all sorts of applications to provide a more direct access to your stored documents. Which benefits new DocuWare Version 7 offers for connecting into your digital infrastructure can be found in our recently updated Integration White Paper.

The Integration White Paper is organized by the most common IT components used within many companies, then shows the integration possibilities available for each.

Some examples: enterprise applications such as SAP, Outlook, SharePoint or your multifunction printers from Toshiba, Ricoh, Sharp, OKI and Xerox can be seamlessly integrated using special connectors.
Or you can use existing categorization criteria and search terms from your IT system via database connection to automatically index documents.

If you want to do some custom programming, a REST-based gateway to DocuWare is often favored. For example, integrate DocuWare file cabinets across any platform via XML or JSON, integrating them directly into the program code of your application.
