Availability and transition
The rollout of the new DocuWare will be combined with an update to DocuWare version 7.15, starting for DocuWare Cloud customers in mid-October 2026 and continuing in stages through the end of the year. As usual, you will be informed about your individual update schedule by email. The new DocuWare will launch as a cloud-first solution, with an on-premises release planned for a later date.
Important news for all customers: No technical migration is necessary - both the classic and new DocuWare will run in parallel, using your familiar data and settings. Users can easily switch back and forth between the interfaces, and the transition is individual: each team member can choose which client to use.
