Updating an existing DocuWare system prior to version 7 requires a number of intermediate steps. The recommended update paths are described in https://support.docuware.com/knowledgebase/article/KBA-34774.
We only recommend updating from DocuWare version 6.12 to version 7.1. For this reason, version 7 is no longer available for download. The successor version 7.1 already includes some improvements that make the update process much more stable. In addition, future optimizations in the setup will only be implemented using this version.
