When should I arrive?
The official kick-off for the partner conference is on Wednesday, 22.04.2020, 09.00 a.m. This means it’s best to arrive on Tuesday, 21.04.2020, at the conference hotel. If you plan on participating in our “Warm Up“ Meetings, you should be at the hotel by Tuesday at 01.30 p.m.
The DocuWorld event hotel is centrally located near Tiergarten (Zoo) Berlin. How do I get to the hotel?
Please organize your transfer via public transport, rental car, taxi, etc. The distance from the "Schönefeld" Airport is approx. 23 km while it’s approx. 8 km from the "Tegel" Airport and approx. 4 km from the main train station.
At the end of the event, how do I get back to the airports or main train station from the hotel? On Friday, 24.04.2020, you can plan your return from the hotel here. DocuWare will be providing shuttle buses to both airports at 1:30 pm.What’s the cancellation policy for hotel reservations?
What‘s the cancellation policy for hotel bookings?
Cancellation conditions for DocuWorld Partner Conference 2020 are as follows:
- Cancellations of overnight stays are possible, free of charge, until Sunday, 22.03.2020. Please contact the hotel directly: berlin@ihg.com.
- After Monday, 23.03.2020, overnight stays can no longer be cancelled and will be invoiced in full. This is also the case even if you do not attend the event, despite having registered.
If you are unable to attend, you may have an alternative colleague from your same company take your place – but please let us know by Friday, 20.03.2020. Simply contact docuworldeurope@docuware.com.

Which payment methods are available?
You will need a credit card to book your room, but this will only be used as a guarantee. At check-in, you will be asked how you would like to pay. You can then pay by credit card, cash or invoice. If you would like to pay by invoice, a valid cost assumption declaration must be sent to the hotel before arrival. If you have any questions, please contact the hotel at the telephone number 0049 30 / 26 02 - 12 87 or by email Berha.Reservations@ihg.com.

Do I need to bring anything, like a laptop?
A laptop is recommended and necessary for recertification.
In what languages will presentations be held?
The trainings on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be held in German, English, French and Spanish – the keynotes on Wednesday and Thursday will be held in German and English (simultaneous translators for English / Spanish will be available).
Is there a dress code?
In general, business casual. For the evening programs on Tuesday, 21.04.2020, and Wednesday, 22.04.2020, we recommend a little upgrade (blazer and tie).
Is there an event app?
An event app will again be available (by March) as a free download.
Photos & Video Notice
Please be aware that photos and video recordings will be taken during the event for public relations purposes. The selection of persons is more or less random. They will be published on the DocuWare homepage, in print media and social media channels.
