DocuWare is Lead Sponsor for Skier Lena Dürr

Germering, November 6, 2018 – Ski racer Lena Dürr will proudly sport the DocuWare logo on her ski apparel as she competes in the 2018/2019 FIS World Cup season. In addition to slalom, the Germering, Germany-based athlete will be skiing in giant slalom and parallel slalom races this year. This season kicked off with a giant slalom race on October 27 in Sölden, Austria. Next up: races on November 18 in Levi, Finland and December 12 in Val d'Isere, France.

A passionate skier himself, sport has always been of great importance to him and DocuWare launched its own Sports and Wellness Program for employees over five years ago.

Through her partnership with DocuWare and the increased audience she can reach, Lena Dürr continues to inspire young people from her hometown and beyond to pursue their goals to ski professionally.

Beyond building brand awareness, DocuWare President and Founder, Jürgen Biffar sees sports sponsorship as a great way to reach potential employees. "We’ve really seen how sponsorship activities have raised our profile amongst professionals within the community,” states Biffar. Case in point - since the company began sponsoring the handball players of the Sportclub Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering (SCUG) in 2015, they have also seen a significant rise in the number of job applications.

The DocuWare logo will continue to adorn the jerseys of SCUG players in 2018/2019. Further sponsorship co-operations were added this year with the handball team HSG Würm-Mitte and the Bavarian Handball Federation (BHV).
