DocuWorld Americas 2019: Day Two Highlights

Written by Samina Sabir | May 9, 2019

Spending time with our partners, networking and exchanging ideas is a big part of DocuWorld but so is providing all attendees with as many value-added learning experiences as we can. Time spent bonding at a 5K Fun Run or a poolside luau is enjoyable, but we know that we draw top quality attendees by offering top quality learning. Here are the highlights from day two.

The day opened with presentations including one by DocuWare Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Potts, where he shared insights to our marketing methodology. There is a huge SMB market out there and we are here to help partners by driving awareness and paving the way for sales conversations.

Partner Portal Discussion - Kurt Kremer from Toshiba Business Solutions, Brian Sampietro from TGI Office Automation, and Bill Berg from The Lioce Group sat down with DocuWare's John Keenan to discuss their best marketing strategies and how to make solutions selling a priority to increase sales.

DocuWare Demo Challenge - The annual demo challenge showdown took place today showcasing the top three finalists. After a good fight from each contender, Trevor Crystal from Les Olson Company took first place defending his reigning title.

The DocuWare User Testing Booth focused on the user experience. We encouraged attendees to test select DocuWare functions and give feedback. There was also an opportunity to try eye tracking on the software on the spot. We will use the results to make our solutions more intuitive and better suited to customers’ needs.

Gold Sponsor Sessions, hosted by our sponsors Objectif Lune and Toshiba, were well worth attending. Topics discussed today were an Accounts Receivable and Human Resources case studies.

The Technology Passport Tour encouraged attendees to visit all of our sponsors and learn more about their products.

Re-certification is a big part of attending our conference. Sales and technical training experts shared their knowledge on our latest version DocuWare 7.1.

Virtual Reality – attendees had the chance to play with Oculus Go VR games. This was a fun way to unwind after a day of learning.

After a busy day inside, attendees got a chance to enjoy the warm sunshine with a poolside luau dinner, including steel drum band, hula girls and warriors.
